CMDI's professionals have participated on many successful projects as
project managers, programmers, and consultants. Our clients range from sole
proprietorships and small local companies to national sports organizations and
worldwide corporations. The following is a list of some of our projects:
- Consulting Partnership with Davox
Corporation - CMDI is a partner of the Professional Services
division of Davox, a leading call center
solutions provider. Projects have included browser based script
development using Davox's LYRICall, Davox Client API and Davox Workstation
API training, Davox Unison Application development, Year 2000 testing, and
ODBC consultation for customers such as AT&T, First Union, Hartford, and
many others.
Technical Environment: Sun Solaris, Sybase for Solaris, Perl,
JavaScript, MS Windows 95/98, JDBC to AS400, and MS Visual Basic.
- Table Tennis Tournament System - Designed,
developed and maintained a tournament control system used by USA Table
Tennis (USATT) for every sanctioned table
tennis tournament in the United States since 1995. Provided
consultation and IT management for Table Tennis tournaments at the 1996 Olympic
Games.
Technical Environment: MS Windows 3.1x and MS Windows 95, Visual
Basic, MS Access and Excel, and Custom Controls.
- SQL Task Management - Designed
and developed a back-end data processing architecture that allows
distribution of tasks across multiple MS SQL Server databases. This reduced
report generation from 8 hours to 45 minutes. Technique published in Pinnacle's
Microsoft SQL Server Professional.
Technical Environment: MS Windows NT and MS SQL Server.
- Engineering Refrigeration Selection Program
- Designed, developed and maintained a computerized technical
lookup manual for refrigeration engineers at FES,
A Division of ThermoPower. Reduced pump selection process from a
labor intensive 45 minutes to an automated 30 seconds.

- Consulting Partnership with Kodiak Software
Systems - Consulted on the design and development of several
projects including:
- Momma Bear, a commercially
available program which allows parents, network administrators, and
infrastructure personnel to customize the Windows interface and control
program execution on the desktop.
- Campground Management System, a
commercially available product which allows campground managers to
computerize their reservations, cash register, and other day to day
functions.
- a suite of programs for law enforcement agencies to streamline their
report generation and management processes.

Delphi, MS Access, and MS Visual Basic.
